LN604 - Pro Tools Fundamentals

Duration: 1.5 Months (45 Hours) | Level: Beginner/Intermediate

This course is designed for new and experienced Pro Tools users seeking a fundamental and advanced understanding of the features and toolsets of the software. You will learn essential and advanced techniques for creating sessions, recording audio and MIDI, editing session media, navigating sessions, and using routing and mixing techniques necessary to deliver quality work.

  • Editing MIDI Data

  • Fine-Tuning the Performance with Quantization 

  • Basic Routing & Mixing

  • Working with Inserts and Sends

  • Sub-Mixing Tracks

COURSE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

 

This course does not have any prerequisites; it is designed for those with no experience in Pro Tools. A background in audio engineering is preferred but not mandatory. Access to a Mac/Windows machine with Pro Tools or Pro Tools | Ultimate software and a MIDI controller is preferred.
